Julia
BARTEN-HOHN
M.A. (Psychology)
Originally from Germany Julia has lived in Hong Kong since
2006. She holds a Master's Degree in Psychology from Ludwig-Maximilians-University
(LMU) in Munich, Germany. Her area of specialization is Psychoanalysis
and she has been a contributing member of a research work
project (Munchner Bindungs- und Wirkungsforschungs-Projekt
= MBWP) for the last three years. She has received certificates
in stress-management, art therapy and self-coaching of personal
development. Julia will focus her work to build factors of
resilience and support clients in developing skills to be
able to solve their problems. The main focus is "Helping
Others Help Themselves". She can provide counselling
in German and English. |

Richard
GEE
M.Ed. (Guidance & Counselling)
Richard is a counsellor with a rich and varied experience.
His 30-year career includes a decade in business management
and operations, a decade in professional counsulting and accounting,
a decade in counselling, coaching, training, and people development.
He has lived and worked in UK, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan.
Being one of Hong Kong's few male counsellors, Richard works
with many male clients. His approach is person-centred, solution-focused,
and emotion-focused, using metaphor, clean language, NLP and
(not least) humour. He works primarily with four groups of
issues : relationships, affairs, and separation; stress, anxiety,
depression, and anger; personal growth and life crisis; work-related
problems. |

Victoria
HIGGINS
Dip.(Psycho-Therapeutic Counselling)
Victoria is a member of the British Association for Counselling
& Psychotherapy. She achieved her Diploma in Psycho-Therapeutic
Counselling (BACP) from Crawley College in Sussex, England
in 2003. She has been counselling in England and Hong Kong
for 10 years. Victoria had her own practice in Tavistock,
England for 3 years prior to recently moving back to Hong
Kong. She provides a counselling service to individuals, couples
and teenagers. Her main areas of focus are anxiety disorders,
depression, anger, relationship difficulties and bereavement. |

Peggy
HO 
Master of Counsellor Education
Peggy has a B.Sc (Hons.) in Psychology from Cheltenham &
Gloucester College of Higher Education, U.K. and a Master's
Degree of Counsellor Education from China Graduate School
of Theology, Hong Kong. She is a registered Nurse and worked
as a hospice home care nurse for almost 10 years. She has
also worked as a Psychological Counsellor in the counselling
services with clients having problems of anxiety disorders,
depression, trauma, personal growth, grief and bereavement,
marital and family issues, and pathological gambling. |

Selina
LIU 
M.A. (Counselling Psychology)
Selina holds a Master's Degree in Professional Counselling
Psychology (specializing in Marriage & Family Therapy)
and was further awarded the honor of being a Diplomate from
the American Psychotherapy Association. She is a registered
MFTI of the Board of Behavioral science in California, a certified
Suicide and Crisis Counsellor (Valley Mental Health -SCAS,
U.S.), as well as a certified Gambling Counsellor (Canadian
Professional Council). Her reputation exceeds her as the ex-host
of a weekly Mental Health Radio Program in San Francisco Bay
Area, serving the Asian/Chinese communities around Northern
California and surrounding areas. As a member of Chinese Association
of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, her clinical experience includes
but is not limited to: Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, OCD, Phobia,
Adjustment Disorder, Trichotillomania, eating disorder, shopaholic
& gambling problems, interpersonal & communication
difficulties, parenting, couples & family issues, life
& work stress, cultural & identity struggles, and
personal growth. |

Aruna
MUCHHAL
M.A. (Psychology)
Aruna is a counselling psychologist. She has a Master in Psychology
from University of Indore, India. Before coming to Hong Kong
in 1987, she lived in the U.K. for 10 years where she worked
with H.M. Inland Revenue department. She also worked as a
kindergarten teacher in Saudi Arabia for 3 years. Aruna became
an accredited Counsellor in 1991 with Marriage and Personal
Counselling Service and has worked with ReSource the Counselling
Centre ever since. Aruna offers counselling services in English
and various Indian languages. She provides individual, couple
and family therapy. Her areas of specialization are emotional
and personal growth issues, marital issues, depression, fears,
as well as family and sexual issues including rape. |

Maureen
MUELLER
Master
in Counselling
Maureen
has a B.Sc (Combined Honours) from Aston University, Birmingham,
England, an LLb from the University of London, England and
a Master's in Counselling from the University of New England
in NSW, Australia. Maureen has been counselling at ReSource
since 1997 with individuals and couples. She is further trained
in Emotion-Focused Therapy; Emotion Freedom Techniques; Eye
Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and the Myers-Briggs
Typology Indicator (MBTI). Her main areas of focus are Post
Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), phobias, resolving emotional
injuries, relationship issues and personal growth issues. |

Catherine is a registered Psychiatric Nurse with a Master's
Degree in Counselling. She also got her Diploma in Gestalt
Therapy training in Australia. Her specialty areas are : depression,
anxiety disorders and trauma. She provides psychotherapy to
individuals and couples in the areas of relationship dysfunction,
mood and stress disorders. |

O'CONNOR

Camilla
is a member of the Australian Psychology Society and obtained
her Master of Psychology (Counselling) from La Trobe University
Melbourne, Australia and her BA(Hons) in Psychology from Sydney
University. Before recently relocating to Hong Kong, she worked
for seven years with adults, children, adolescents and their
families and undertook further studies in Family and Couple
Therapy. Her areas of interest are relationship difficulties,
depression, anxiety, difficult life transitions and life stresses,
and working with parents and their children on various developmental
issues. |

Helen N. T. POON

D. Psych.
Helen is
a clinical psychologist trained in Melbourne, Australia. She
has been working in the field for more than seven years. Helen
is currently a member of Australian Psychological Society,
Associate Fellow member of the Hong Kong Psychological Society
and the Division of Clinical Psychology. Helen provides individual,
couple, family therapy and has extensive experience in running
group therapy. She works in the areas of trauma, family violence,
relationship difficulties, anger and stress-related issues.
Helen also works with parents on children and adolescent-
related difficulties. |

Angela obtained her Master's in Counselling from Canada, and
a Master's in Behavioural Health from the University of Hong
Kong. She also holds a postgraduate diploma in Family Therapy,
and a certificate in Child Psychology. Angela has been working
in the counselling field for more than 10 years. She works
with clients in the areas of depression, anxiety disorders,
traumas, personal growth, family, and marital issues, adolescent
issues, and grief and bereavement. |

Wong May Yung, Judy

Judy
is a registered psychologist who has completed her degrees
at the University of Hong Kong (M.Soc.Sc. in Marriage &
Family Therapy, Postgrad. Cert. in Psychology); University
of Newcastle, UK (M.Ed. in Guidance & Counseling). She
has been inspired by Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy
(AEDP),Somatic Experience, and mindfulness-based stress
reduction. Such exposure has allowed her to adopt an integrative
approach in her clinical work based on the foundation of
humanistic theories, self psychology, attachment theory,
psychodynamic theory, neuroscience, & systems theory.
She works with individuals, couples, families, adults and
adolescents in different conditions and in different situations
including mood and behavior problems, family issues, marital
conflicts, losses and trauma.

Alice
YU

Alice obtained her Master's Degrees in Counselling and in
Developmental Psychology in Canada. She has worked with clients
from Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, and other countries in her
more than 15 years in the counselling field. She is fluent
in Cantonese, Putonghua and English, Alice works with clients
in the areas of relationships, depression, anxiety disorders,
grieving, traumas, and personal growth. Alice is the intake
officer at ReSource and is responsible for providing information
to new clients and assigning cases to other counsellors. |

Regine
YUEN WILLIAMS 
M.Soc.Sc. (Marriage and Family Therapy)
Regine holds a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
as well as a Bachelor's Degree with honours in Sociology and
Psychology. A mother of two, Regine has previous experience
working with children in Canada and as a Diversional Therapist
in Australia. Regine believes in seeing beyond individual
personalities and behaviours to inter-connectedness; her approach
is family and systems based. She works with a wide range of
clients: individuals (including children, youths, adults,
and the elderly), couples (including cross-cultural/mixed
marriage), and families experiencing various issues, such
as inter-relational/marital/family conflicts (including trans-generational,
and separation/divorce), depression, anxiety or stress, and
families with children with learning difficulties or behavioural
problems. Regine is also a trainer of the Stress Management
Workshop for a professional body. She is tri-lingual English,
Cantonese and Putonghua. |
