M.A. (Professional Counselling)

Freda has a Master's Degree in Professional Counselling from the Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois. She has been working with clients in areas of personal growth, emotional disturbances, marital and family relationship issues. With a wide range of life exposures, Freda has an analytical and thoughtful mind, proactive thinking, as well as an open attitude to various perspectives. Applying an eclectic approach founded on a client-centered base, she facilitates her clients with creative ways in achieving self-understanding and change.
Yolanda CHIU  

Yolanda CHIU

Yolanda adopts a non-judgmental approach to her practice and brings calmness and compassion to her work. Her therapy is influenced by attachment theory and family systems theory and as such she counsels her clients from a holistic perspective. Her areas of special interest include relationship issues, depression, parenting, low self-esteem, loneliness, loss and grief, life transitions and personal growth. With advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), she helps couples and families move away from negative patterns that keep them stuck and distressed, and toward secure emotional connection. Yolanda has extended exposure to people of various backgrounds through her counselling profession and personal life experience. She has a master degree in counselling from Canada and she offers counselling in English, Cantonese, and Putonghu.

Specialist Degree (Psychology)

Anna obtained a Specialist Degree in Psychology in Moscow and was qualified as a Psychologist and Teacher of Psychology in Russia. She also had her qualification in Economics from Russian University, equivalent to an Australian doctoral degree. Anna has worked in a number of settings including international real estate in Moscow and Dubai. She volunteered at various psychological helplines and had an internship in Moscow at two paediatric Hospitals (in the cancer and neurological departments). Before moving to Hong Kong, Anna had worked at the Russian Educational Center in Shanghai as a psychologist.
Anna provides individual counselling for adults and children in the areas of socio-cultural adaptation, parenting issues, traumas, life crises, loss and grief, relationship issues and depression.
She works within the psychoanalytic paradigm with the elements of family systems and client-centered approaches. In her work with children she uses the techniques of play, art and sand therapies.
Anna is fluent in Russian and English.
Richard GEE   Richard GEE
M.Ed. (Guidance & Counselling)

Richard is a counsellor with a rich and varied experience. His 30-year career includes a decade in business management and operations, a decade in professional counsulting and accounting, a decade in counselling, coaching, training, and people development. He has lived and worked in UK, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan. Being one of Hong Kong's few male counsellors, Richard works with many male clients. His approach is person-centred, solution-focused, and emotion-focused, using metaphor, clean language, NLP and (not least) humour. He works primarily with four groups of issues : relationships, affairs, and separation; stress, anxiety, depression, and anger; personal growth and life crisis; work-related problems.

Fiona has a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and is a member of the Hong Kong Society of Counselling and Psychology. Fiona also has a Master's Degree in Social Work and is licenced in the UK. She also completed the studies of postgraduate certificate in Systemic Therapy in UK. Fiona previously worked in the UK, USA, UAE and Kenya. Fiona enjoys using an integrative strengths based approach which is family and systems based, focusing on the use of narrative, expressive and experiential therapies. Fiona provides individual, couple and family therapy to adults, adolescents and children challenged by a variety of issues including relationships, behavioural, depression, anxiety disorders, loss, trauma and educational issues.

Master of Counsellor Education

Peggy has a B.Sc (Hons.) in Psychology from Cheltenham & Gloucester College of Higher Education, U.K. and a Master's Degree of Counsellor Education from China Graduate School of Theology, Hong Kong. She is a registered Nurse and worked as a hospice home care nurse for almost 10 years. She has also worked as a Psychological Counsellor in the counselling services with clients having problems of anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, personal growth, grief and bereavement, marital and family issues, and pathological gambling.
Jamyee KWAN  

Jaymee KWAN
M.A. (Clinical Psychology)

Jaymee is a registered psychologist who has received her master degree in Clinical Psychology at Wheaton College, Illinois. Throughout her clinical experience in local counselling centres and oversea psychiatric settings, Jaymee has enjoyed and continuously worked with children and adolescence with expressive therapy, including art and play therapy. Moreover, she adopted a person-centered and positive psychology approach in which she believes accessing the potentials and resources within the individuals. Meanwhile, she specializes in finding resilience through losses, marital growth, depression, anxiety, and personal building. She currently is under local psychiatric training that focuses in early psychosis and related mental health studies.

Selina holds a Master's Degree in Professional Counselling Psychology (specializing in Marriage & Family Therapy) and was further awarded the honor of being a Diplomate from the American Psychotherapy Association. She is a registered MFTI of the Board of Behavioral science in California, a certified Suicide and Crisis Counsellor (Valley Mental Health -SCAS, U.S.), as well as a certified Gambling Counsellor (Canadian Professional Council). Her reputation exceeds her as the ex-host of a weekly Mental Health Radio Program in San Francisco Bay Area, serving the Asian/Chinese communities around Northern California and surrounding areas. As a member of Chinese Association of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, her clinical experience includes but is not limited to: Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, OCD, Phobia, Adjustment Disorder, Trichotillomania, eating disorder, shopaholic & gambling problems, interpersonal & communication difficulties, parenting, couples & family issues, life & work stress, cultural & identity struggles, and personal growth.
M.S.W., L.C.S.W.
Lori seeks to empower fellow humans in developing a relationship with themselves beyond the internal battles and external influences. She believes people are experts in their lives possessing an innate capacity to heal. Through the application of EMDR (trauma release protocol), narrative, cognitive-behavioral, play and expressive therapies she supports children, adolescents, families and adults in negotiating challenges associated with adoption, sexual/physical abuse, anger, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, autism, inattention and impulsivity. Her strengths also lie in collaboratively supporting families to navigate the rough terrain of co-occurring stressors found in the cyclical nature of life and relationships. In addition to being an LCSW (licensed clinical social worker) in America, she holds a B.A. in Psychology, a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Vermont (UVM), is a certified teacher in yoga/meditation and is an EMDR practitioner.

Aruna is a counselling psychologist. She has a Master in Psychology from University of Indore, India. Before coming to Hong Kong in 1987, she lived in the U.K. for 10 years where she worked with H.M. Inland Revenue department. She also worked as a kindergarten teacher in Saudi Arabia for 3 years. Aruna became an accredited Counsellor in 1991 with Marriage and Personal Counselling Service and has worked with ReSource the Counselling Centre ever since. Aruna offers counselling services in English and various Indian languages. She provides individual, couple and family therapy. Her areas of specialization are emotional and personal growth issues, marital issues, depression, fears, as well as family and sexual issues including rape.

Angela obtained her Master's in Counselling from Canada, and a Master's in Behavioural Health from the University of Hong Kong. She also holds a postgraduate diploma in Family Therapy, and a certificate in Child Psychology. Angela has been working in the counselling field for more than 10 years. She works with clients in the areas of depression, anxiety disorders, traumas, personal growth, family, and marital issues, adolescent issues, and grief and bereavement.
Judy WONG

Judy is a registered psychologist who has received her post-grad degrees at the University of Hong Kong (M.Soc.Sci. in Marriage & Family Therapy; Postgrad. Cert. in Psychology), and the University of Newcastle, UK (M.Ed. in Guidance & Counselling). In addition, she has obtained certification in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Somatic Experiencing (SE), and Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction. She adopts an integrative approach in her clinical work based on the humanistic theories, self psychology, attachment theory, psychodynamic theory, neuroscience & systems theory. She specializes in mood regulation and trauma work. She works with individuals, couples, families, with anxiety, depression, behavior problems, family issues, marital conflicts, loss and grief. She is a certified supervisor for AEDP training.

M.C. (Master of Counselling), M.Sc. (Developmental Psychology)

Alice obtained her Master's Degrees in Counselling and in Developmental Psychology in Canada. She has worked with clients from Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, and other countries in her more than 15 years in the counselling field. She is fluent in Cantonese, Putonghua and English, Alice works with clients in the areas of relationships, depression, anxiety disorders, grieving, traumas, and personal growth. Alice is the intake officer at ReSource and is responsible for providing information to new clients and assigning cases to other counsellors.

Regine holds a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has received her Clinical Fellowship from The American Associate of Marriage and Family Therapy. A mother of two, Regine has many years of clinical experience dealing with wide range of issues, from behavioral, stress/anxiety/panic/depression to marital/family conflicts. Her clients include individuals, couples, and families from various cultural backgrounds. She believes in seeing beyond individual personalities and behaviors to inter-connectedness; her approach is family and systems based.
In addition, she is an experienced facilitator of seminars & workshops on stress management, and post-divorce co-parenting. She is tri-lingual in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
